Terms of use

AvtoMate is a platform for recording and sharing information about cars: a private garage log, an encyclopedia of car models (the Cardex), a marketplace for private sales, a listing of meets, and a community.

We provide the platform. We do not sell cars, inspect cars, broker sales, handle payments between members, or employ mechanics.

You need an account to use most of the platform. You are responsible for what happens under it and for keeping your password to yourself.

You must be old enough to enter a contract in your country. One person, one account.

You can delete your account at any time by contacting us. Deleting it removes your profile, garage and listings. Posts in shared threads may remain, with your name removed, so conversations other people took part in stay readable.

You keep ownership of everything you upload — photos, text, service records, listings. By posting it you give us permission to display it inside AvtoMate so the platform can work.

You must have the right to post what you post. Do not upload other people's photos as your own.

Do not post anything unlawful, abusive, deliberately misleading, or that impersonates someone else.

A sale agreed through AvtoMate is a contract between the buyer and the seller. We are not a party to it and take no commission.

Sellers must describe cars honestly. Do not misstate mileage, damage or service history. Mileage figures shown on AvtoMate are self-reported by the owner and are not independently verified.

How many cars you may have listed at once depends on your plan. Current limits are shown on the plans page.

We may remove a listing that appears fraudulent, misleading, or in breach of these terms.

Cardex entries, valuations and deal reports are generated by an AI model from publicly available information and from data members enter. They are opinions and starting points, not facts, inspections, or professional advice.

Do not rely on them alone when buying, selling, or maintaining a car. Costs, faults and values vary by market, condition and individual vehicle. Always have a car inspected before you buy it.

We do not guarantee that any figure, fault, service interval or valuation shown is accurate or complete.

Some features — AI valuations, deal reports, higher garage and listing limits — require a paid plan. What each plan includes is set out on the plans page and may change; we will not reduce what you have already paid for during a billing period.

Monthly AI allowances reset at the start of each calendar month and do not roll over.

Meets are organised by members, not by AvtoMate. We do not vet organisers, venues, insurance or safety arrangements.

You attend at your own risk and are responsible for your own conduct, your vehicle, and complying with the law on public roads.

AvtoMate is provided as it is. We do our best to keep it running and accurate, but we do not warrant that it will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that any content on it is correct.

To the fullest extent the law allows, we are not liable for losses arising from: decisions made on the basis of AI-generated content, transactions between members, inaccurate information posted by members, events organised by members, or loss of data.

Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

We may update these terms as the platform develops. Material changes will be announced in the app.

We may suspend or close an account that breaches these terms.
